About Us
Futral Farms is a 195-acre farm in Woodland Alabama. It is owned by Karla and Bran Futral.

In July 1998 the Futral's moved from Texas to Alabama to pursue a career with a local manufacturer and purchased 28.5 acres of property in Woodland, Alabama. The land had about 18 acres in pasture and the balance was in hardwoods and pine.

The decision to farm pecans came in late-2012. The first tree was planted in February of 2013. At the start there were two varieties of pecans planted across 80 trees, Excel and Oconee. 8 years later, a total of 613 trees had been planted, consisting of 11 different varieties of pecans.

In 2021 the Futral's purchased 17 acres to farm an additional 400 pecan trees.

In 2022, they purchased 115 acres of their grandparent's old farm place located just east of their farm. This will be identified as the Harris House farm place, and they will be adding additional pecan trees there as well in the near future.
